Public Health Summer School – "New Normal" in Public Health

Public Health Summer School for Local and International Secondary School Students


This summer, join us for an exciting experience as a public health explorer at CUHK! To mark our 20th Anniversary, the JC School of Public Health and Primary Care is offering the first Public Health Summer School to yearning secondary students. Together we will explore the fundamental concepts of public health to prevent diseases and improve overall wellbeing, which help us adapt to the "New Normal" nowadays.


During the 4-day face-to-face programme, our School experts will open your door to university level lectures. You will also challenge yourselves with hands-on participation through the exciting mini project and sharing with other passionate students. Our student ambassadors will guide you through this amazing journey and share their own experience. Take the step and apply now!

> Application Materials

Individual applicant may register online and submit the following documents during registration:

(i) A photocopy of student ID card with the applicant’s photo and full name;

(ii) A photocopy of the transcript/report card showing full record of examination results of the courses attended in the current academic year 2020 – 2021, including the clear indication of

- full name of the school

- full name of the student

- grading system/ scale (e.g. 7=Excellent; 6=Very Good; 5=Good)


> Payment

Payment details will be announced to successful applicants via email in early July.

Successful applicants should settle the payment on or before 16 July 2021. The applications of those who fail to do so will be considered unsuccessful.

Programme fee is ONLY refundable in case of event cancellation.

  5. The BSc in Public Health Programme reserves the right not to offer/cancel the Summer School.
