Overseas Practicum & Internship
The JC School of Public Health and Primary Care provides students with valuable opportunities to participate in overseas practicum programmes, enabling them to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.
By engaging in these overseas practicum experiences, students acquire invaluable skills and knowledge that allow them to put the theories and concepts they have learned into practice on a global scale. Through immersive experiences in diverse countries and with the guidance of our esteemed faculty members, students gain firsthand exposure to a wide range of healthcare systems, cultural contexts, and public health challenges.
Starting in 2025, our school will be expanding its overseas practicum programmes to include three new countries:
Furthermore, our school offers overseas internship opportunities that significantly enhance learning experiences and career prospects. Students frequently engage in internships with prestigious organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations (UN), and other renowned institutions.
These internships provide critical hands-on experience in global health initiatives, policy development, and research, enabling students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings. Participation in these programmes not only builds a professional network but also equips students with a competitive edge in the job market, preparing them for successful careers in public health.
